What's On This Season
Cork Jazz Festival
Enjoy Europe’s biggest jazz party at the 2017 Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.
Featuring over 1,000 musicians in hundreds of music sessions citywide, it is one of the jewels in the crown of Irish festivals.
The festival offers a broad range of music styles - from blues to bebop, from dixieland to swing, from soul to funk, from jazz rock to electronica, and much more. Over 90% of the music is free of charge.
There are lots of colourful street bands and a large range of fringe events – from jam sessions to master classes.
The festival is world famous. Many of the biggest names in jazz participate in concerts at the city's main theatres. It’s a superb event that has something for everyone, day and night.
Famous jazz artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Dave Brubeck, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Cleo Laine, Marcus Miller and Gregory Porter have been Festival headliners and another stellar line up is planned for the 2017 edition.
The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival has got it all – superb music, pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants – and a magical festival atmosphere.
Join us in Cork, Ireland’s festival city, for a weekend to remember.
